Coral Capital Solutions is a commercial finance company providing working capital to small and midsize businesses mainly through financing their Purchase Orders and Accounts Receivable. We also provide Asset Based Loans against receivables, POs and inventory. We are well capitalized, using our own equity to fund clients and therefore have the ability to consummate transactions quickly from commitment to funding. We maintain a flat and nimble organizational structure that allows clients and referral sources direct access to principals and decision makers.
Management
Rishi Kumar
Founder, Managing Partner
Rishi serves as the Managing Partner of Coral Capital where he manages the underwriting, financing, and operations of the business. Before launching this company, Rishi was an executive at a New York real estate development firm where he was responsible for acquisitions, structuring, financing and management of a wide variety of real estate transactions.
Prior to this, Rishi was a Fixed Income derivatives trader at a bulge bracket investment bank, last running the Short Term USD Interest Rate Swap book. He also traded the Medium Term Swap book and the Municipal Derivatives book of rate and credit hybrids. Rishi has obtained a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science (Finance track), and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, all from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Einat Steklov
Founder, Managing Partner
Einat, Managing Partner and In-House Counsel, leads Coral Capital’s strategic direction, business development and structuring of financing solutions. Her unique combination of business acumen with legal proficiency enables Coral Capital to offer its clients creative financing solutions in complex and special situations.
Prior to joining Coral Capital, Einat was the president of a factoring company where she was responsible for business development, sales and branding; prior to that, Einat was a senior executive at a venture-capital-backed e-commerce company that she co-founded. Einat is a lawyer by training and had practiced law both in New York and in Israel. She holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and an LL.B. from Tel Aviv University School of Law. She served as a Lieutenant in the Israeli Defense Forces. Einat is a board member of the New York Contemporary Credit Club, and served for two years on the advisory board of the International Factoring Association.
James Bertie
Chief Operating Officer
Jim joined the Coral Capital management team in 2010 to serve as Chief Operating Officer. Jim’s experience in the commercial finance industry, and especially factoring, spans more than 25 years. His knowledge in asset based lending and underwriting, factoring operations, collections and portfolio management is a valuable asset in Coral’s operation.
Prior to joining Coral Capital, Jim spent fifteen years as an officer, underwriter for new business and portfolio manager at Platinum Funding Group, a factoring firm, and prior to that twelve years at Heller Financial, a subsidiary of Fuji Bank Limited, a commercial finance firm, where he held a number of positions in collections, credit and portfolio management.
